Admission process Of MBA[UoP]Institute Level Seats/against Vacancies
• Advertisements for the admission will be given in the local Newspapers.
• Application form along with the Institute information Brochure will be available by Paying Rs 1000/- at the institute office between 09 AM to 05 PM on all working days.
• Merit list will be displayed on the institute Notice Board as per notifications.
• Fees will be charged as per Directives of Shikshan Shulka Samiti, Govt. of Maharashtra their decision will be final.
• Admission will be given purely on merit for the vacant seats after conclusion of centralized rounds of admission, conducted by DTE, Govt. of Maharastra.The institute level quota will also be filled as per the norms.
• List of all the admitted students under all categories will be displayed on notice board. Refund of fees against the cancellation of admission will be as per the rules laid down by DTE, Govt.of Maharashtra.
 
Eligibility for Admission
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBA Programme In order to secure admission to two year full time course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-
1. Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra state only)in any Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
Or
Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree Exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State Only).
Or
Passed with any Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities AND Appeared for the final year examination of any Post Graduate degree of minimum two years duration in any discipline recognized by the association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject passing the Degree Exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra state only).

2. Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Maharashtra State Candidates (Type A-E) (Refer rule for the definition of Type of Candidature for Maharashtra State Candidates) • Candidate Should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in Rule No 1. • Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET Maharashtra Govt./CMAT/XAT/CAT,Any other Entrance Test acceptable,by the competent Authority of the Maharashtra State) for the Academic Year 2016-17.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Admission against ALL India Seats (For Maharashtra State Candidates) • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule No 1. • Appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET Maharashtra Govt./CMAT/XAT/CAT,Any other Entrance Test acceptable,by the competent Authority of the Maharashtra State) for the Academic Year 2016-17.

4. For Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates (Refer rule for the definition of Outside Maharashtra Candidates) • Candidate should be an Indian National and should possess basic qualification as specified in rule No.1. • Appeared for (CET Maharashtra Govt./CMAT/XAT/CAT,Any other Entrance Test acceptable,by the competent Authority of the Maharashtra State) for the Academic Year 2016-17..Note:Eligibility Criteria Subject to change /relaxation (if any)by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State.
 
TUITION FEES & OTHER CHARGES:
Fees For the Academic Year 2015-2016.
Interim fees Rs 95,000/-(Ninety Five thousand only) as per shikshan shulka samiti notification will be charged from the Academic year 2016-2017. Final fees for the course will be subsequently declared by the shikshan shulka samiti. As per the decision of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti, there will be an increase in the fee for the subsequent years of the course. In case the final fee approved by the Shikshan Shulka Samiti is less than the Interim fee collected,we undertake to refund the difference of amount to the student within four week of declaration of the fee on the official website of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti. However, if the final fee approved by Shikshan Shulka Samiti Is more than the Interim fee collected ,then the same shall be paid by the student/parent. An undertaking to this effect is to be given by the student and parent at the time of taking admission. Hostel Charges for accommodation Rs 30000/-p.a.(Does not include charges for meals.)

All students and parents are invited to approach the Dean, who will maintain a special Register for this purpose and report their problem/concern / grievance. The purview of grievances shall include the following:
1. Admissions made contrary to the policy of the Institution;
2. Withholding of relevant documents;
3. Demand of Fees in excess of that has been Approved by Shikshan Shulk Samiti;
4. Breach of reservation policy in regard to admission as applicable to the Institute;
5. Complaints of discriminatory practices against OBC, SC/ST or minority students;
6. Non-compliance in the provision of amenities as stipulated by competent authorities;
7. Refund of fees as per AICTE / DTE regulations;
The Grievance Committee will communicate its decision within 10 days of receiving a written complaint.

Note: Compositions of the committee is as per AICTE Regulation 2012 and the Ombudsman appointed by SPPU.

Women's Grievance Redressal Committee

In the current scenario women are marching towards success in their personal and professional lives. The Grievance Committee shall consider all grievances submitted in writing by an individual regarding working harassment, eve teasing and any other alleged injustice at the Institute. This has been done to provide a gender-sensitive and congenial working environment so that institute remains free from gender discrimination or any harassment.

Antiragging Rules & Acts:
In view of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, in all higher education institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the healthy development, physically and psychologically, of all students, the AICTE brings forth rules and regulations.

As per directions of AICTE, it is brought to notice of all students and other various stake holders that ragging is a criminal offence. In orderto curb the menace of ragging as per AICTE regulations which has been notified vide F. no. 37-3/LegaI/AICTE/2009 dated July 1, 2009, the college has constituted antiragging committee, anti-ragging squads, dedicated wardens and counselors. Students admitted in the campus/college must sign affidavit, an affidavit from parents/guardian need to be submitted separately. Another affidavit must also be submitted from students and parent/guardian along with application of students while availing hostel accommodation.

Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be anyone or any combination of the following:

  • Cancellation of admission.
  • Suspension from attending classes.
  • Withholding/withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits.
  • Debarring from appearing in any test/examination or other evaluation process.
  • Withholding results.
  • Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival, etc.
  • Suspension/expulsion from the hostel.
  • Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters.
  • Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution.
  • Collective punishment.
  • when the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers.

Educational Loans
The Institute is approved by AICTE Ministry of HRD Govt. of India Recognised by Govt. of Maharashtra and hence any Nationlised and Private Banks will give the education loans to the students.

No correspondence will be entertained regarding the refund rules. All cases will be administrated strictly under the limits of Pune Jurisdiction only.
 
Hostel Facility
   Approximate cost of Boarding and Lodging in Hostels : Rs. 50,000/- per year + Rs. 5000/- deposit

 
The Total Fee will be accepted only by

Prospectus
The Institute has selected centres across India; for conducting the admission tests. The Institutes prospectus will be made available in such centres in advance at a cost of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. One Thousand only) by D.D only.

The Prospectus charges are non - refundable under any circumstances.
