LEARN AND EARN PROGRAM
Inspired by Germany’s Dual Education Model, Yashaswi has developed the “Learn & Earn,” a pioneering skill development program in India that combines On-The-Job Training with formal education and a stipend for students from socio-economically deprived backgrounds. The Learn & Earn program in India offers certification courses as well as diplomas and advanced diplomas from universities such as MSBTE, YCMOU, SPPU, LTSU, and NSDC.
Learn & Earn has been awarded the “Best Skill Initiative” by NSDC under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India. It has also been recognized by the Governments of Maharashtra and Goa. The Learn & Earn scheme in India is entirely industry-funded with no financial support from the government and no monetary contribution required from students, making it a powerful example of effective industry-academia collaboration.
