ABOUT YASHASWI SKILLS LTD

Yashaswi Group has launched India’s First Learn & Earn program in 2010. It aims to provide skill-driven courses tailored to meet industry needs and develop talent. Students can earn certifications, diplomas, and advanced diplomas without any financial burden from different universities. The program includes On-The-Job Training and provides a stipend to trainees. This initiative has made a significant impact in uplifting underprivileged youth and creating a pool of talent for industry.

LEARN AND EARN

Inspired from Germany’s Dual Education Model, Yashaswi has developed “LEARN & EARN” which provides On-the-job training along with formal education to the students from socio economic sector for diploma, degree, advanced diploma and certification programs from various Universities like MSBTE, YCMOU, SPPU, LTSU and NSDC.

Learn & Earn has been awarded as “Best Skill Initiative” by NSDA under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt of India. It has also been recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and Govt. of Goa. Learn and Earn is totally funded by the industry with no Government financial incentive and no financial contribution from the students. This is a perfect example of Industry-Academia Collaboration.

BENEFITS FOR THE ORGANIZATION

According to the Govt. Notification dated 9th May ’23 Student trainees are considered as Apprentices hence No Statutory Compliance/ Labour Laws are applicable;

Circular issued by EPFO dated 18th August ‘22 will not be applicable to the Stipend paid to the Student Trainee for the Learn & Earn Program;

Student trainee can be enrolled throughout the year according to the job roles;

Student trainee can work in core areas and in all 3 shifts.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR STUDENTS

Age Group - 18 - 35 years;

Enrollment - Throughout the year;

Diploma - 10th pass/ 12th / ITI;

Advanced Diploma - Diploma/UG.

DURATION

Diploma – Up to 3 Academic years;

Advanced Diploma – Up to 2 Academic years;
